What is the cost of the Program?
The program fee is $22,000 USD or 151,500 RMB. This covers your hotel stay, breakfast and lunch for three weeks at the training site as well as all books and materials used during the program. You will need to provide for some of your dinners and your own transportation.
Expect significant rigor. You will engage in multiple team projects and presentations. Your hours will be long but fulfilling. The trainers all have significant industry experience and their expectations are high, so your performance must be superior. There will be exams during the program to test your knowledge.
Will I meet with industry practitioners?
Yes, we have a trip planned to a major financial center where you will spend the entire day meeting with traders, exchange professionals and bankers to ask them first-hand how to succeed in this business. The trip will be to either Hong Kong or Shanghai, depending on logistics.
Will I get an internship?
We have secured internships for every participant. These internships are with exchanges, brokers, investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers. All participants will interview of these available positions and will be selected on the basis of their skills and performance.
What will life be like during the program?
What software and platforms will I get to use?
During the program you will be shown market making and trading strategies used by banks. We will be using state of the art trading platforms that attach to actual exchanges for live data feeds. Your experience will be as real as possible. Expect to engage in multiple trading sessions during the program to enhance your understanding of markets and products.
Will I learn how to interview?
Near the end of the three weeks, you take part in our interview process with multiple brokers and exchanges at the training location. We have additional content during the program that extends beyond the required financial topics and goes into how to interview, how to be successful, handling conflict, building teams, even how to dress for success.
What happens if I am unable to complete the program?
If you are dropped from the program due to illness or other major events, we will offer you either a pro-rata refund or admission to the next program at our choice. If you are unable to complete the program due to personal choice (too complex, or you don't wish to enter this career) we will offer a refund on a sliding scale.
Am I guaranteed an internship?
Yes. Every participant is guaranteed to get an internship. If the rare event happens and you are not placed into an internship, you will receive a 75% refund of the program fee.
